ICT Lab

The college has an air-conditioned ICT Lab fitted with forty computers with printers and scanners. All academic work relating to holding of seminars and conferences is carried out through the computers.

Our College computer lab is well equipped and maintained with 40 computers, a projector, two printers, 2 scanners, CD/DVD-writers etc. We have got Broadband Internet connection along with networking of all the systems through LAN. We encourage our students to make maximum use of multimedia presentations in their teaching. Students can surf internet anytime during the college hours. It proves to be especially beneficial for M.Ed. students in finding related studies for their dissertations.

Computer literacy is essential for the prospective teacher and hence compulsory computer classes are held on a regular basis to make the students familiar with the basic skills of computing necessary for their day to day teaching and learning assignments.

The prospective teachers are thus exposed not only to the pedagogical practices but also to computer-based programmed lessons and animated visuals. Use of Projector is made by the staff and students in delivering their lessons through multimedia presentations. This help the teacher as well as pupil teacher to facilitate conceptual clarity, increases interactivity, eases content assimilation and students also get motivation for the use of this medium for delivering more visually effective lessons.
