Library and Information Centre

A well managed library is an essential input to academics; it is always a crucial learning resource for students of professional courses. The library has an important role to play in an educational Institution. It is an essential core element and dynamic instrument for the promotion of educational research. The College library is well equipped with the latest books. It has 17592 books in stock. The college Library has subscription of various International and National Journals. Books are properly classified, catalogued & arranged systematically for the users. Research and reference sections are well stocked. The serene atmosphere and rows of neatly stacked books pertaining to courses of study, supplementary reading, general reading and personality development etc., play a major role in attracting the students to the library.

The library has an open-shelf system where members of the staff and students can consult books freely and make their own selection. A M.Ed. student is issued four books at a time whereas a B.Ed. student is issued two books at a time for a period of 14 days.

The library has a photocopier where members of the staff and students can get documents photocopied at concessional rates. Members of the faculty recommend books to be purchased for the library.

Also, there is a provision of Book bank in the college library. Books are issued to the needy, deserving & meritorious students for the entire session. . The College library has a spacious reading hall. The library with its rich collection of books, magazines, newspapers, and wide range of journals, provision of reference service, efficient lending facilities and skilled help from the library staff is rendering valuable assistance to the students desirous of excelling in their studies.
